Versions

Our logo versions ensure we have the perfect branding solution for every application. There are three versions of the DevOps Institute logo; Original, Stacked and Horizontal.

The original version of the logo is main logo: wide and stable. We use it whenever the format allows it.

The stacked version of the logo offers us an option to still appear confident and consistent in sizing for really narrow formats.

The horizontal version of the logo offers us an option to still appear confident and consistent in sizing for really narrow formats.

Tagline

Our tagline can be incorporated into our branding. The tagline variation of our logo should only be used when you want to clarify what DevOps Institute does — this summarizes our value proposition. A tagline variation of each logo version is available for use where appropriate.

Bug

Our bug  is the essence of our logo. We use it anywhere we want to appear less official and for promotional purposes, like on T-shirts, mugs, or tote bags. We also use it in environments that already visually feature our brand name, like on social media or in apps.

Safe Area

The DOI Original logo has a safe area of the cap height taken from the ‘D’ on the DOI Logo. The blue keyline represents the media edge. This means the DOI Logo should sit top left/right or bottom left/right positioning for legibilty.

Color and Usage

Where possible, the DevOps Institute logo should be used on a plain white background in it’s original color way. For special circumstances we offer alternative color way logo variations.

In these circumstances, black-out logos should be used only on light backgrounds, whilst white-out logos should only be used on dark backgrounds or contrasting imagery.
