Our logo versions ensure we have the perfect branding solution for every application. There are three versions of the DevOps Institute logo; Original, Stacked and Horizontal.
Our tagline can be incorporated into our branding. The tagline variation of our logo should only be used when you want to clarify what DevOps Institute does — this summarizes our value proposition. A tagline variation of each logo version is available for use where appropriate.
Our bug is the essence of our logo. We use it anywhere we want to appear less official and for promotional purposes, like on T-shirts, mugs, or tote bags. We also use it in environments that already visually feature our brand name, like on social media or in apps.
The DOI Original logo has a safe area of the cap height taken from the ‘D’ on the DOI Logo. The blue keyline represents the media edge. This means the DOI Logo should sit top left/right or bottom left/right positioning for legibilty.
The DOI Icon/Bug has a safe area of half its cap height. The blue keyline represents the media edge. This means the DOI Icon/Bug should sit top left/right or bottom left/right positioning for legibilty.
Where possible, the DevOps Institute logo should be used on a plain white background in it’s original color way. For special circumstances we offer alternative color way logo variations.
In these circumstances, black-out logos should be used only on light backgrounds, whilst white-out logos should only be used on dark backgrounds or contrasting imagery.

DO NOT change scale of bug.
DO NOT use logo with minimal contrast.
